HISTORY

Kathyann Cowles has over 35 years of experience as Planner/ Project Manager/Principal for diverse and complex design and construction projects focusing on Academic, Science and Technology Environments. She began her architectural career in Boston, working with several high-profile Architects and established her own firm, KC Architects at age 29.  Kathy then worked many years for the S/L/A/M Collaborative, and then ID3A, LLC (Managing Architecture Principal).

In 2018, Kathy stated the firm, KC Architects in CT so she could pursue her own creative initiatives.

Kathy's teams consistently deliver high-quality projects that add value to her clients. She has the proven ability to lead multiple interdisciplinary design teams creating award-winning projects that are on time and on budget.

Kathy serves on the Board of the Construction Institute, an industry consortium connecting companies involved in the design, engineering, and construction businesses. She also co-authored a new book titled "The Future of the Design and Construction Industry". ​​
